Warhammer 40,000 has a whole lot of goodies on the way. New characters, a new campaign, and a return of an old friend.
Games Workshop has a TON of reveals for Warhammer 40k at the World Champs this year. I’ve broken these up in a few sections to make them easier to talk about. So let’s start with a few new Xenos characters.
New Xenos Characters
For the Leagues of Votann we have Berehk Stornbrow! He’s going to be able to join your squads of Berzeks and take the fight to the enemy! And he’s got some beef with Orks.
The Twin Lance is a pair of new T’au characters coming to show off for the Greater Good. They are universally liked by the T’au Cadres so you can have them join your army regardless of which one you’re running.
The Tyranid Prime with Lash Whip is back with a new miniature. This is kind of a no-nonsense upgrade but that doesn’t make it bad! As a Tyranid player myself, I’m glad to get a new character to pass out some more Synpase.
Ultramar – 500 Worlds
There’s a new sub-setting for Warhammer 40,000. It’s the 500 Worlds of Ultramar. There was actually a really cool video to introduce this one and I’m happy to see a specific Space Marine get the nod and his rank back…
That’s right, folks! Captain Titus is once again a Captain of the Ultramarines! He’s taken over the 2nd Company and that means he’s the new Warden of Ultramar. That also comes with another task from the Primarch: retake the 500 Worlds of Ultramar! Now, if you know your lore, that’s going to be a little bit of a challenge. I’m sure Titus is up to it — or he’ll die tryin!

The good thing is Titus isn’t alone in this one. He’s got quite a few members coming to help him out.
Overall, this is looking like a cool set if for nothing else than for fans of Titus to collect. Shoot, I might just get it because of that very reason. There’s also pretty neat looking campaign book coming, too.
There’s a lore book but also additional rules and scenarios to play out as well as a campaign map, too. This looks like a really neat supplement overall and I want to get one to read-up on what the heck is going on!
Oh, and there’s some more foes to battle, too…
New Necrons For The 500 Worlds
Nekrosor Ammentar is the mastermind behind some of the most dangerous Necrons out there: the Destroyers. He’s not looking to reclaim the old glory days — he wants to watch everything burn. And to do that, he’s looking to bring on the shards of one very particular C’tan…
Now, this WOULD have been the big reveal of the Nightbringer. But it leaked. Still, now we know how it’s going to fit in with everything. I’m hyped for this new miniature for sure. There’s also a new Necron Destroyer Battalion on the way, too.
That’s a lot of great stuff coming to Warhammer 40,000! Now all those Ultramarine releases are making sense…
Captain Titus, reporting for duty!
