The army of Grand Cathay isn’t complete with out these new reinforcements coming to guard the Great Bastion in the Old World.
If you thought the army of Grand Cathay was done, well, SURPRISE! There’s a new batch of reinforcements on the way. Designed to fill some gaps in the existing list, these miniature will first be available as a boxed set. But let’s see what’s on the way!
Astromancers
To help out with the magic side of the house there’s a pair of Astromancers coming. One is on foot while the other is mounted. These should help with some cheaper wizard options in your army to play with.
New Ranged Options
The Crane Guns are effectively the longer range option and can lay down some serious firepower. Plus they bring their own cover against return fire.
The Iron Hail Gunners are basically blunderbusses and will obliterate units at close range. You do NOT want to be on the receiving end of a volley from this unit.
Jade Empire Peasants
There is a new new dual kit coming for new Peasant Levy Bowmen or Spears. This is going to be the go-to option for some extra bodies on the field. Cheap and expendable…unfortunately for them.
Finally, there will be a new Arcane Journal as well, and if you can’t tell by the spoilery title, the Great Bastion is in a world of hurt.
