We’re heading to the Outer Rim with this unboxing. It’s Bounty Huntin’ Time with these iconic characters in Star Wars: Legion!
Okay, full disclosure, this one has been out for a while. It quite literally slipped through the cracks and I’m just now getting to review this box after Atomic Mass Games sent it to me. Whoops. I blame the new starter boxes distracting me as well as all the other amazing news coming out for Star Wars: Legion. It’s been a busy couple of months.
Anyhow, let’s just say that news can take a while to arrive from the Outer Rim — that’s just how these Outlaws like it. We’ve got Din Djarin, Boba Fett, and Grogu in the house!
Outer Rim Outlaws Unboxed
First up, the contents follow the same pattern we’ve seen from basically all the AMG releases. We’ve got the miniatures in one baggy, bases in another, and the cards (so many cards) in the third and final bag.
Seriously, this box is mostly cards by weight. I’m just saying. Anyhow, these cards do come in the supported languages so this is the same box you’ll see all over the place. And it’s loaded with all the options you’ll need to run these characters.
If you want to see more of these cards they are available on the product page from AMG. But I did take a bunch of pics of them so feel free to peruse them at your leisure.
All three of these characters add something extra to your lists. Ideally, you’ll be running Din Djarin and Grogu together while Boba Fett is kind of his own dude. But you do you. Now, on to the sprues…
In the box you get three bases but you do end up with extra bits. Particularly for Grogu and Boba Fett. Grogu has an option where he’s eating a frog and Boba has a helmetless option. Which seems like blasphemy…but ya know….once again, you do you.

I do like the sculpts for each of these characters. Even if I prefer my Mandalorians faceless and helmet wearing, they still evoke quite a bit of character. Plus Grogu is and continues to be “so darn cute” that you just wanna protect the little guy. The Force is strong with that one.
