Asmodee will release the Apex Legends: The Board Game product range from Glass Cannon Unplugged, including the base game, expansions, and alt modes, to trade in January.
The board game is based on the Apex Legends video game developed by Respawn Enertainment and published by Electronic Arts, which reached 50 million players in the first month after its 2019 release.
Glass Cannon Unplugged first offered the board game on Kickstarter in 2023, and raised $996, 275 (converted from Euros at today’s exchange rate) from 4,731 backers.
Apex Legends: The Board Game is a competitive miniatures game in which 2-6 players compete using a variety of game modes. It includes 6 characters from the videogame: Bangalore, Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Pathfinder, and Wraith, who airdrop onto a shrinking battleground to compete in a series of matches using a wide variety of weapons and actions. It is for players 14 and up, and plays in about 60 minutes.

Apex Legends: The Board Game – Squad Expansion adds 6 new Legends (Caustic, Crypto, Mirage, Octane, Revenant, and Wattson), along with all the miniatures and ability cards for each and a storage tray. MSRP is $74.99.
Apex Legends: The Board Game Solo & Cooperative Mode adds the ability to play in solo or cooperative modes for up to two players. Players face off against the automated version of the six core Legends. Includes both Battle Royale and Team Deathmatch modes. The box includes 45 Game Mode Action Cards, 6 Legend Cards, 12 Legend Abilities Cards, 12 Movement Cards, 15 Charge Tokens, Custom Storage Tray and Rulebook. MSRP is $44.99.
