Square Enix will release two new volumes for the Final Fantasy XIV RPG in 2026: Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG: Scenario & Gamemaster Guide, and Final Fantasy XIV RPG Advanced Rulebook: Stormblood. These follow the release this year of the initial product in the line, the Standard Rulebook (see “’FFXIV Standard Rulebook’ Heads to Retail”).
The Scenario & Gamemaster Guide includes adventure creation tools, new rewards, expanded encounter rules, a world guide to the realm of Eorzea and beyond, three premade scenarios, challenge duties, eleven premade FATEs based upon those found in the videogame, new personal quests, and data for around 130 monsters and other foes, primarily drawn from videogames Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Heavensword. Release is planned for February 15, 2026 at $69.99 MSRP.
Final Fantasy XIV RPG Advanced Rulebook: Stormblood includes additional Job information, covering levels 65 and 70 from the Standard Rulebook and levels 30 to 70 for the new samurai and red mage jobs; new items and augmentations; three premade scenarios, two premade challenge duties, five premade FATEs, a personal quest, and data for around 50 new monsters, primarily from Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood. Release of the 240-page volume is planned for August 2026 at $69.99.
