Free League Publishing will release Vaesen Nordic Horror Roleplaying: City of My Nightmares to trade next spring, the company announced. City of My Nightmares was part of a two-volume Vaesen RPG Kickstarter back in Fall 2024 (see “Two ‘Vaesen RPG’ Expansions“), which raised around $645,376 (converted from SEK at today’s exchange rate) from 5,728 backers. The volume is illustrated by Johan Egerkrans and Anton Vitus.
City of My Nightmares takes place in 19th century Stockholm, where horrors lurk in the alleyways. It is a full-length campaign in four parts that investigates a series of murders in the city. The hardcover book comes with a separate large map of Stockholm during this era, and the campaign can be adapted to be run in most other Gothic cities of the era.
The Vaesen – Nordic Horror Roleplaying Starter Set was released to stores in October (see “’Vaesen Starter Set’“).
