You can find two new classes for Pathfinder 2E (remastered) in the newly released Dark Archive. Get ready for Psychics and Thaumaturges.

Pathfinder 2E has put out a new psychic power and occult-themed book, with the newly released Dark Archive (Remastered). In it, you’ll find two new classes, the Psychic and Thaumaturge, alongside a whole other host of rules. Temporal anomalies, cryptids, and, of course, cults are trying to make use of all of them. Not to mention all the curses, patches, and deviant abilities you might unlock. Let’s check ’em out, starting with the Table of Contents:

Pathfinder: Dark Archive (Remastered) – Psychic and Thaumaturge Are Here At Last

I mean, sure Dark Archive (Remastered), has a bunch of stuff. It’s got GM and player appeal alike. But really, the big draw is the two new classes. Everyone loves a new class. We get excited about the new mechanics and how they might play out. And even if they’re bad, then it’s something to argue about and try to fix.

Though thankfully, here, the two new classes seem ready to roll. Let’s start with the Psychic. It’s been a little more than two years since the Psychic has had a touchup (you can find it in ye old Pathfinder Remastered Compatibility Guide FAQ), and I, for one, am excited to see what the new one looks like.

Because the Psychic was previously basically a two-slot caster with some stronger-than-normal cantrips and Focus spells that really let you let loose. This one looks drastically different. With the potential to unleash a Cranial Detonation at higher levels, turning a successful kill into an AoE attack. And a pretty potent one at that.

But what about the Thaumaturge? It’s always been a little bit of a weird one.

The Thauaturge is all about being a monster hunter in the Van Helsing tradition. You pick a mystic implement, find esoteric weaknesses of your enemies and exploit them. Especially with the new more codified ruleset, I expect they’ll have a much easier time. You get to decide what weaknesses you are exploiting.

There’s plenty of other stuff, too, including new GM tools, monsters, temporal anomalies, and more. You can pre-order it at the link below!
