The heart of Starfinder’s galaxy is getting its own Starfinder 2E sourcebook. Come see what awaits you in Absalom Station.

Starfinder 2E has hit the ground running. Which, to be fair, it needs to. There’s a long way to run to rival the volume of original Starfinder stuff, though it seems like new players are taking to the new, Pathfinder 2E cross-compatible system. To that end, Paizo has a new sourcebook coming out later this year for Starfinder 2E: Absalom Station, a book all about the port of call at the center of the galaxy.

Starfinder: Absalom Station – Coming August 2026

Absalom Station takes its name from Golarion’s Absalom City, which is the sort of center of the world of Golarion. Though unlike the city, we don’t know for sure whether or not there’s a secret test you can take to just become a god at the heart of Absalom Station. We likely won’t know until August.

But what we do know is that there’s a ton of new stuff for both players and GMs awaiting in the new book. Players can take a bite out of a ton of new information for PCs that want to hail from the port of call. Or more likely, get excited about the four new archetypes and two new playable species available in the book.

You might consider playing as one of the cow-like Nuar, or the aberrant Gnarefuroids. It all depends on what flavor of little freak you feel like being.

“Absalom Station is a famous port of call at the center of the galaxy. It’s a place where worlds and cultures collide, and where danger and opportunity lurk around every corner. This 164-page hardcover rulebook presents new player options, GM tools, and lore for creating Starfinder adventures on Absalom Station, or anywhere in the galaxy!”

GMs, on the other hand, will find “campaign-ready information” detailing life on Absalom station. You’ll get write ups of its districts, know how travel works, the whole nine yards. It’s basically the book you grab if you want to know about running a game on a space station.

Especially since the other big thing here is a catalogue of friends and foes that all might show up on a space station. Any space station, not just Absalom Station. We don’t have too long to wait – the book is slated for an August release (presumably right at Gen Con), so keep an eye out for when pre-orders go live!

No word on if you can become a god there or not, but hey, in Starfinder 2E, anything goes!
