Monte Cook Games will release the Character Rulebook and Game Master’s Guide, for Cypher TTRPG, into retail in 2026.
These two rulebooks lay out the latest edition of the core rules for the Cypher TTPG. The rules in these books are part of Monte Cook’s CSOL (see “Open Gaming License“), and are required to use different setting books produced by the company (see “‘Numenera RPG’“). The Character Rulebook offers players the rules for character creation, player-facing mechanics and more.
The Game Master’s Guide offers GM-facing rules and advice on creating adventures and campaigns using this system. Each book will retail for $49.99. These books will also be available in a slipcase set for $99.99.
