The Sentinel Squad is coming soon. Now we know how long of a wait we have before the mutants are in trouble in Marvel: Crisis Protocol.
Mutants, you’re going to be in a world of hurt in May. On the 22nd, the arrival of Bastion, Nimrod, and Omega Sentinel will be here. Start making plans and getting your affairs in order because these Sentinels are going to be a problem.
Sentinel Strike Imminent
Personally, I’m really excited about this one. I’m a big X-Men fan, and having some of their most hated foes coming to the game is going to be epic. While we don’t have any stats to show off for them yet, I’m excited to know it won’t be that long of a wait before they arrive.

I’m particularly excited about Nimrod coming to the game. Anyone else VERY curious to know what sort of threat level all three of these characters have? I also wonder if they are going to bring any new leadership to the Sentinel faction as well. Bastion seems like a likely candidate to be a new leader. At the same time, Nimrod is the ultimate Mutant hunter. What bag of tricks is he bringing to the tabletop?!
Let’s not sugarcoat it either: These three characters are straight-up villains, too. While they might act like they are here to protect mankind from Mutants, they really want to take over and rule as machines. If you know your X-Men lore, then you know the Sentinels will take over in the future if nothing is done to stop them in the present. It’s almost like a sort of Judgement Day scenario. And that’s coming for the Mutants May 22, 2026!
Marvel: Crisis Protocol – Bastion, Nimrod & Omega Sentinel $64.99 (Pre-Order)
Since their creation, Sentinels have been programmed to hunt down mutantkind, and like their targets, Sentinels have also evolved. No longer thoughtless machines, Omega Sentinel, Bastion, and Nimrod have all developed their own machinations, strategies, and plans for both mutant and mankind. So while these may be the most effective Sentinels to date, mankind may also find itself on the receiving end of the Sentinels’ protocol.
