Surprise! Star Wars: Shatterpoint is still kicking and we’ve got signs of life at AdeptiCon 2026 from Atomic Mass Games.
While there is much doom and gloom on the internet towards Star Wars: Shatterpoint, it’s still getting new releases. While AMG is planning on slowing down the number of releases, they are still shooting for new Squad Packs as well as balance updates for the game. I wrote about that already. What was actually shown off from AdeptiCon was important. So let’s see what they had for us from the show!
More Squads Inbound
The Alone With Friends Squad Pack was teased already. But now we have the painted versions. Finn is actually the Primary Character here with Rey as the Secondary. Han and Chewie are a Supporting Unit which seems appropriate.
Next up, we have Poe’s squad pack:
We Are the Spark Squad Pack was teased before with just art last time. Now we have the fully painted miniatures being showcased.
And of course there’s some First Order folks coming…
Kylo Ren is leading this squad pack and he’s got a few different head options. There’s also Mr “TRAITOR!” as the secondary in this pack, too.
Captain Phasma is also getting her own pack with a few other First Order troopers at her side.
That’s basically two Resistance and two First Order packs announced and confirmed from AdeptiCon. There’s also a BIG update planned, too.
Rebalancing Update Coming In May
AMG is aiming for a Character Rebalance later this year as well. Below you can see a few of the coming changes.
These were just a few of the character rebalances teased. But AMG also hinted at another batch of characters getting a look:
I doubt this is the only set of characters getting reworked but at least they are looking at tweaking things for Star Wars: Shatterpoint. Hopefully, this is going to gain some momentum for the game in the right direction.
If they don’t release the Update on May 4, 2026, I think that’s going to be a missed opportunity.
