We’ve got a new Roadmap and also a teaser for more Affiliations coming to Marvel: Crisis Protocol straight from AdeptiCon 2026!
The AdeptiCon 2026 preview from Atomic Mass Games showed off a bunch of cool stuff. Some of it we already knew about. Lots of it was new. Plus we got quite a few card teasers to check out!
Again, we’ve known that Dani Moonstar, Havok, Jubilee, and Multiple Man have been on the way. Also, I really hope they check the spelling on his name before it goes to print…
Anyhow, we got another look at Jubilee’s cards.
I say another because those were actually leaked earlier. Anyhow, I do hope they put out pictures from the show because the highest resolution I could get from the stream was only 720. So don’t go blind trying to decipher these stats. They’ll be out sooner rather than later.
We also knew the Sentinels were coming, too. AMG teased the Bastion rules at the show:
Again, sorry about the resolution. What was mentioned at the show is that the Sentinels will be able to “depower” other characters. I’m curious to see how that plays out and hopefully once we get a better look at these cards we’ll really be able to tell. For now, we know Bastion is rocking the new Leadership and will be a threat 4.
We also got a tease for Nimrod.
This Apex Mutant Hunter is clocking in at threat 5 and looks blurry BEEFY. I really can’t wait to get my hands on this character pack to build and paint him!
Up next, we got a look at the Operation: Zero Tolerance Character & Crisis Card Pack. This one features two Prime Sentinels and you can bring both in a single list.
The crisis cards will also include a “narrative” sheet so you can play through the story of Operation: Zero Tolerance by way of the missions. It’s a fun and thematic way to use them. It’s should be similar to the War of Kings set.
Also, here’s blurry pics of their character cards.
They are threat 3 and again, you can bring two of them in a single list. I’m actually glad AMG set them up this way. And they should be interchangeable with the Attack of the Sentinels coming in Marvel: Crisis Protocol Alliances.
New Affiliations
We’ve seen the teasers for The Leader, Red Hulk, & Sensational She-Hulk before. And yes, Red Hulk will have a head option WITH the Mustache. Honestly, I feel like that’s going to be the go-to option for me…
Anyhow, we’ve got a tease about what Affiliations they are joining. Or should I say leading…
Red Hulk is ushing in the Thunderbolts while The Leader is bringing on Intelligencia. I kind of nailed that last one. Let’s hope The Leader gets a few more of his “friends” in the game, too.
Next, we have a look at Onslaught. Along with a few Team Tactic Card teasers, we also get a tease that he’s got his own Affiliation, too: Onslaught’s Grip.
I really hope he’s insanely OP and clocks in at a threat 6 or 7. If you know what it took to take him down, then you could even make the case that a Threat 8 is justified. But we’ll have to wait to find out.
Spooky Season
Coming later this year we get into the MCP spooky characters. Blackheart, for example, is coming in Q4. This is another character that I think is going to be a lot of fun just to paint up. I really am looking forward to his release along with Orb and Jack O’Lantern. Oh, and Will Shick said that the Eye Puns for the Orb’s card were a ton of fun to make.
If you saw the other teaser from the MCP case at AdeptiCon, then you probably saw this winged fellow. It’s Hulkling!
He’s coming with the other Young Avengers in Q2 of 2027 from what I can tell. More on that below.
More Starter Sets
The Starter Sets are getting two more boxes added to the rotation. There will be an Asgardian and Guardians of the Galaxy Starter set. The plan is that these will be at the same price point as the previous ones so that means they are priced aggressively! It also sounded like they would stick around as long as they keep selling, too.
There were also some more repacks announced.
The Avengers Brains & Brawn pack along side a new Criminal Underworld Pack. Both of these have some much needed characters returning to stores.
There’s also a BIG update coming in June 2026. So keep an eye out because it sounded like upwards of 80-85% of the characters were getting a look at.
The plan is to help level-set the game for the next few years of updates with this one! I’m sure there will be more tweaks than this one but it’s going to be a BIG deal.
Marvel: Crisis Protocol Roadmap
Honestly, this one is kind of light. But it was mentioned that AMG is holding back some of the announcements so this is NOT an all inclusive look at the MCP releases. There’s a mysterious gap in Q1 of 2027 as well. While that might be for the Attack of the Sentinels release for MCPA, I feel like that’s not all AMG has planned. Oh well! Still, this preview had quite a few nice teasers and I’m sure 2026-27 is going to be a fantastic time to play Marvel: Crisis Protocol.
I heard what you said there Mr. Shick.
