Wizards of the Coast revealed product line details for Magic: The Gathering – Reality Fracture, a new booster set, which will hit stores on October 2, 2026.
When Reality Fracture was first announced back in 2025 (see “2026 ‘Magic: The Gathering’ Lineup“), very few details were given outside of this set being the “new plane” set of 2026. The storyline for the set involves Jace Beleren creating an alternate Echoverse that threatens to take over the current Multiverse (a very Loki/Spider-verse adjacent story arc). As a result of Jace’s manipulations, the school of Hexhaven is created, planeswalkers get color-swapped, and more.
The product line contains the usual array of SKUs with the exception being a Secret Lair Bundle and five Foundations Commander Decks. The Secret Lair Bundle is particularly interesting as it offers players mythic rares from the set with Secret Lair makeover that has art from Jace’s new world. The product line is as follows:
Reality Fracture Collector Booster Packs and Displays. Boxes contain 12 packs with 15 Magic: The Gathering cards in each pack. These packs contain extended-art cards as well as ultra rare headliner cards. MSRP per pack is $26.99.
Reality Fracture Play Booster Packs and Displays. Play Boosters come with 14 Magic: The Gathering cards, and they are packaged in 30-pack displays. Each pack will contain a legendary card and an Echoverse alternate. MSRP per pack is $5.49.
Reality Fracture Bundle. The bundle has 9 Play Boosters, 15 traditional foil lands (5 are full-art), 15 non-foil lands (5 are full-art), a foil alt-art card, a storage box, and 2 reference cards. Bundles will retail for $57.99.
Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle. The Secret Lair Bundle replaces the Gift Bundle for this set. It comes with 6 Play Boosters, 2 Collector Boosters, 2 of 10 different mythic rare Secret Lair cards, 20 traditional foil borderless lands cards, and an exclusive Spindown life counter. It will retail for $89.99.
Reality Fracture Draft Night. Draft Night boxes contain 12 Play Boosters, a Collectors Booster, 90 lands, and 10 double-sided lands. It will retail for $89.99.
Reality Fracture Commander Deck. This 100-card Commander deck features alternate-reality versions of Magic creatures. It has 18 new-to-Magic cards as well as 2 new-to-Magic traditional foil mythic rares. The deck also comes with 10 double-sided tokens, a deck box, a strategy insert, and a reference card for $49.99.
Foundations Commander Decks. These five different decks are the equivalent of beginner Commander decks. They offer 100 cards that are aimed at offering players an easier path to playing their first game of Commander. The five decks are as follows: Calling All Angels, Keen Engineering, Wretched Ranks, Reign of Dragons, and Tramplesaurus Rex. Each box comes with a 100-card deck, 10 double-sided token cards, a deck box, a strategy insert, and a reference card.
Reality Fracture Prerelease Pack. Prerelease Packs are specifically for use in prerelease events and include 6 Play Booster packs, a traditional foil rare or mythic rare card, and a Spindown life counter.
