Champions of Chaos (full title Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions of Chaos) is an RPG set in the world of the Mortal Realms, where you play as the titular Champions of Chaos. This hearkens back to the glory days of Warhammer ‘roleplay’ when they released that one expansion that let you pick a character to be an aspiring Champion of Chaos who might end up a powerful Daemon Prince (or maybe just a Chaos Spawn) depending on how they earn the favor of their dark patrons.
And now, you have the structure to earn some favor and do some dark deeds in the first-ever campaign for Champions of Chaos, Carngrad Adventures.
Carngrad Adventures – Coming Soon
Carngrad Adventures is a sprawling campaign that takes place in exactly the kind of place you’d want. Because, sure, you can do a whole campaign about marauding against the Cities of Sigmar or whatever, but let me tell you, give me a chance to be in one of those post-apocalyptic Chaos cities where it’s all in-fighting and murder-politics.
And that’s exactly what you get here. You get into the Reaver City of Carngrad where the cruel and the cunning rise to the top (where even bigger fish wait to feast upon those who dare rise above the streets). You know, Chaos stuff.
“The Reaver City is a nest of scheming and constant, pitiless bloodshed. The streets are littered with the bodies of those who could not bend the cruel rules of Carngrad to their will. Brutal pit fights are the resolution to everyday conflicts – fought without rules other than victory at any cost.
The four adventures that make up Carngrad Adventures can be strung into a dark and bloodsmeared campaign full of action and intrigue, as the warband gets more involved with the backstabbing affairs of the Talons.”
The book itself is a collection of four different adventures that will take you across the expanse of the Bloodwind Spoil. From the streets of Carngrad to the roiling wastes outside of the city, there’s a ton.
Carngrad Adventures is coming later this year, so keep an eye out. Possibly literally, because, you know, Chaos Reavers.
Don’t think too much about how Carngrad works municipally, just enjoy the carnage!
