This one is not a joke. Games Workshop released the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Quarterly Battlescroll Update today.
I’m just going to chalk this one up to unfortunate timing because the Age of Sigmar Quarterly Battlescroll Update is live today. And yeah, it’s April 1st. But these links are real.
Every quarter, Warhammer Age of Sigmar receives an update to ensure that battles in the Mortal Realms remain balanced. Let’s see what we have in store for the first changes in 2026.

What’s Changing For This Quarter of Age of Sigmar?
Aside from the obvious updates to all the Spearhead boxes above there are more targeted changes as well. GW tends to aim for smaller tweaks at the start of the year so this time around they did some post-release updates for the Disciples of Tzeentch and the Lumineth Realm-lords in particular. That said, lots of units got point tweaks across the board. So be sure to check out your army and their points from the Battle Profiles download here.
Interestingly, GW has also go after Auxiliary units with some of them incurring a compounding cost. The more copies of them you take the more they increase in points. In particular the Spawn of Chotec have gotten called out.
There’s also some tweaks to the Ironjaws spells and prayers. Check on Bash’em Ladz! and Killa Beat in particular. Again, there’s also a ton of Spearhead updates so if you’re playing any of the ones from the image above do check out the download section.
Finally, there were some tweaks to the core rules, too. Many of these were also in regard to the Spearhead changes. There were also some rules removed from the Faction Pack section. Basically if your army got a Battletome recently (like the LRL, DoT, Sylvaneth, DoK, and OBR) then you should probably check your respective sections out.
There is a whole lot of this going on in the Faction Pack section.
So enjoy your updates. I’m still chewing on this info as I dodge April Fools day. Good luck out there.
