Dragonbane Trudvang – The Legend Returns from Free League Publishing
- END DATE: Thu, March 19 2026 4:00 PM EDT.
- CROWDFUNDING ON: Kickstarter
- SYSTEM(S): Dragonbane
- PROJECT TYPE: Core rulebook
- MOST POPULAR PLEDGE: SEK 1,498 + S/H for the PDF and print versions of Dragonbane: Trudvang Core Rulebook, The World of Trudvang, Jorgi’s Bestiary, and The Saga of the Black Star
- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? This Kickstarter is likely to end up as a million dollar campaign, which is another feather in Free League’s cap. 20 years ago, Trudvang started life as a Dragonbane setting. Split apart years ago, Free League licensed the setting from CMON to reintegrate the setting with their version of Dragonbane, which is a peanut butter in chocolate level combination. Pulling art from the various editions of this game, you’ll receive classic images from Paul Bonner, Justin Gerald, and others. Backers get four books including the core rules, The World of Trudvang, Jorgi’s Bestiary, and The Saga of the Black Star plus GM screen and more. If you’re a fan of Dragonbane and/or Trudvang, this Kickstarter is worth exploring.
Monsters & More! A Nimble TTRPG Reprint & Expansion from Nimble Co.
- END DATE: Thu, March 12 2026 9:00 PM EDT.
- CROWDFUNDING ON: Kickstarter
- SYSTEM(S): Nimble 2e
- PROJECT TYPE: Core rulebook and sourcebook
- MOST POPULAR PLEDGE: $125 + S/H for the PDF and print versions of the Monsters & More Hardcover Book, Expansion Heroes Zine Bundle, Adventure Print Bundle, New Core Subclasses Zine, and Creator’s Kit Physical
- AI STATEMENT: “Made by humans. Absolutely NO AI imagery is used, and the design & writing is done by REAL human authors as well.”
- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? If you watch Youtube reviews or online debates, you’ve likely heard about Nimble, the 5e revision that changes the game in new and engaging ways. If you haven’t, here’s the deal: 3-action economy paid to the player at the end of their turn – defense, help, movement, attacks, and more cost – no “to hit,” instead roll damage with “1s” equaling a miss and exploding dice, monsters that are simpler to read, and the extra secret, you can convert most elements of your 5e content to this system with limited drag. It’s biggest selling point is the player engagement during combat, this setup gives players reason to stay invested in the game even when it’s not their turn. Need more reviews? Dave Thaumavore (and again), Professor Dungeon Master, and Questing Beast all gush over this game. After selling out of their boxed set from the first crowdfunding, this Kickstarter reprints the rulebooks, new zines, and, best of all, a brand new monster manual. If you’ve heard about this game and want to try it out, check out the campaign page for a free PDF quickstart explaining the rules.

- END DATE: Mar 13, 2026 at 8:00pm EDT.
- CROWDFUNDING ON: Backerkit
- SYSTEM(S): Cypher System
- PROJECT TYPE: Core rulebook

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Numenera is back and that list of books under the $279 pledge is massive! Set in a far-future (like, a billion years from now) science-fantasy experience, this TTRPG uses the latest edition of the Cypher System. It’s the Ninth World, an Earth reshaped by unimaginable time and multiple civilizations, you’ll explore ruins and deal with science that might as well be magic. If you’re a fan of Monte Cook’s great production values, the Cypher System, or Numerera, the Backerkit page has more information.
Blades ’68 from Evil Hat Productions
- END DATE: Mar 12, 2026 at 9:00pm EDT.

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? The world of Blades in the Dark moves forward 100 years to the swinging ‘60s. 450 pages of groovy rules for spying, heists, and paranormal encounters. This Kickstarter offers a retrospective artbook complete with the history of the game and a foreword from Bruce Campbell of The Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, and The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. A new core book, dice, coins and more, all marking three decades of Deadlands. Under the Shadow of Helfast Spire – Zine for Shadowdark RPG from Bob World Builder
- END DATE: Thu, March 12 2026 8:00 PM EDT.
- CROWDFUNDING ON: Kickstarter
- SYSTEM(S): Shadowdark RPG
- PROJECT TYPE: RPG zine
- MOST POPULAR PLEDGE: $16 + S/H for the PDF and print versions of the zine
- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Above, I mentioned Youtube reviews of Nimble (here’s one from Bob World Builder), which segues to this Youtuber’s 64-page Shadowdark adventure. Youtubers are a major part of the industry (see Critical Role, Dimension 20, Dungeon Dudes, the winner of the Most Anticipated TTRPG of 2026, Professor Dungeon Master, or EN World’s channel), and Bob uses his platform to discuss how he plays 5e and other TTRPGs. Under the Shadow of Helfast Spire expands on an adventure Bob almost ran for Matt Mercer (story here) with 4 new classes for Shadowdark, 16 monsters, 30 magic items, a hexcrawl, and a 22-room dungeon. If you’re a fan of hex/dungeon crawls using Shadowdark, this project can be found on Kickstarter.
Murker of Mörks! Omni-Compatible Borg Adventure! from Recluse
- END DATE: Thu, March 19 2026 1:07 PM EDT.
- CROWDFUNDING ON: Kickstarter
- SYSTEM(S): Compatible with Mörk Borg, Pirate Borg, Vast Grimm, Frontier Scum, CORP Borg, and Punk is Dead
- PROJECT TYPE: RPG zine
- MOST POPULAR PLEDGE: $25 + S/H for the PDF and print versions of the zine
- AI STATEMENT: “We care about art, but we care even more about people. So there’s absolutely no AI or AI tools used to make any part of this project. 100% Human made, even these freaks.”
- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Do you want to play a cross-Mörk Borg adventure using characters and options from your favorite doomed Borg TTRPGs? Mr. Least is plucking forsaken adventurers from Borg systems like Mörk Borg, Pirate Borg, Vast Grimm, Frontier Scum, CORP Borg, and Punk is Dead and offering them a chance at fame if they survive his televised/streamed game show. Sometimes crossovers feel forced. However, one of the themes that unites Mörk Borg games is the end of the world setup. Since your character is going to die with the world and they’re doing everything they can to survive the worst, taking a chance on a deadly game show does not break immersion. Last weekend at Dice + Diversions 2026, I gamed with Recluse/Nishaant, the creator of this 48-page zine. If his zine is half as good as his GMing skills, this adventure will be a treat, and I recommend checking it out on Kickstarter.
the ossuary from postworldgames
- END DATE: Wed, March 4 2026 1:54 PM EST.
- CROWDFUNDING ON: Kickstarter
- SYSTEM(S): An original OSR system
- PROJECT TYPE: Core rules
- MOST POPULAR PLEDGE: $25 for all of the PDFs
- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? jim pinto offers up an OSR system that re-envisions the standardized expectations of OSR. In the heady days of BX and AD&D, not everything was known, new ideas came out and they could break the game. the ossuary returns to that time where the art was black and white, and the character classes swung power levels wildly from page to page and roll to roll. Each class is available as one sheet with all of its information on the page. Setting these powers in a decaying fantasy world, you’ll break the campaign or save it, your choice. Check out this Kickstarter page to learn more about how this game is different than standardized OSRs.
