Wizards of the Coast revealed two special OP events for Marvel Super Heroes, a new booster set for Magic: The Gathering.
Magic Presents: God of Mischief is a three-versus-one Commander event where one person assumes the role of Loki, the God of Mischief and the other players work together to defeat him. The players assuming the role of Loki has access to Loki’s Tricks, which give them significant advantages in the game, and starts with 60 life. The other three players have a total of 60 life between them, and take their turns simultaneously. Players in this event will receive promo cards dedicated to this event by WotC.
Marvel Super Heroes: Final Battle is a one-time scheduled that can be run between July 3-26, 2026. It is a set-themed tournament where players will compete for an alternate cover art comic book variant of a Marvel comic. It is a Standard event, similar to the Spider-Man event that had a comic book as the top prize (see “Final Battle“).
